PayByPhone expands portfolio with CP Plus (West Hertfordshire NHS Trust)

PayByPhone expands portfolio with CP Plus

PayByPhone continues to expand its portfolio with operator CP Plus, following the launch of the mobile phone payment service at its managed sites with West Hertfordshire NHS Trust. PayByPhone is being offered as an alternative form of payment to the existing pay and display equipment at the three hospitals within the Trust, namely, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and Watford.

“People parking in hospitals rarely want to be there and the requirement to return to the car park to buy another ticket from the machine in what can often be harrowing circumstances, can lead to conflict or distress. The PayByPhone option to top up parking time without the need to leave the hospital building will be a boon to both visitors and out-patients,” commented Grahame Rose, Development Director for CP Plus.

The launch at the West Herts hospitals brings PayByPhone’s portfolio with CP Plus to 88 sites across the UK.   Existing locations offering the service include MOTO and Roadchef service stations.

“We are delighted to be expanding our portfolio with CP Plus into another niche area within the parking arena. I’m sure there will other NHS Trusts keeping a watching brief on the public’s reaction to the availability of the PayByPhone service at these sites,” said PayByPhone’s Business Development Manager, Todd Sothcott.

PayByPhone is supplied by Verrus UK Ltd, part of the PayPoint Group of companies.
