Andreas Gruber

President and Global CEO, PayByPhone

Andreas Gruber is President and Global CEO of PayByPhone, bringing close to 20 years of international experience in the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) business. He has an extensive background in Strategy and Business Development and headed up this department for VW Financial Services AG for over 2 years. Andy has been deeply involved in the parking business in recent years through his board appointments at PayByPhone and Sunhill technologies. He believes parking today is one of the key pain points for drivers around the world and is passionate about working with the PayByPhone team to deliver great products that will make the world of mobility an easier place for our customers.

Jonny Combe


As Chief Executive Officer for the UK, Jonny focuses on supporting PayByPhone’s expansion in the region, building new partnerships, and collaborating with parent company Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS). He joins PayByPhone from the BMW Group where he spent the past 12 years in various management roles, most recently as General Manager for Environment, Real Estate, Mobility and Innovation in EMEA. At BMW, Combe spearheaded the Digital and Innovation Programmes in the UK and pioneered the award-winning BMW Innovation Lab and The Intrapeneur Lab.

Philippe Lerouge

President, PayByPhone France and CEO, PayByPhone Western Europe

Philippe Lerouge is the founder of PayByPhone in France, and is responsible for managing the UK, France, and Switzerland. He has personally led execution and delivery of major Clients including Paris, Nantes, Geneva or VINCI Park. Prior to founding PayByPhone France in 2009, Philippe spent 15 years in the payment and services division of the group Sodexo, starting in Germany and subsequently holding various managing director roles in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and the UK. Between 2001 and 2004 he was responsible for e-Commerce activities for Sodexo Group. Philippe completed the executive program at Babson College in the USA, and holds a Masters in Management at the University Paris Dauphine and a Masters degree from the IAE of Aix-en-Provence.

Maggie Clay

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Maggie is responsible for the finance, HR and legal functions of PayByPhone globally. Maggie supports decision-making in all departments based on financial, legal and risk considerations. She brings experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis to the management team. Maggie obtained her BComm from McGill University and articled with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a CPA, CA.

Jason Boast

Chief Experience Officer

As Chief Experience Officer, Jason is responsible for the entire consumer experience as it relates to the wider PayByPhone service. This includes the design and development of consumer products, primarily the flagship iOS and Android apps as well as all the web-based assets and IVR solution. Jason works directly with cities, private operators and tier one strategic partners like Apple, Google and Android Pay in order to create the best service for the end user. To complete the customer lifecycle, Jason has created a one-to-many, software supported, global customer service solution that supports the needs of the user throughout every stage of their journey.

Catherine Scott

Chief Legal Officer 

As Chief Legal Officer, Scotty is responsible for the legal function at PayByPhone globally. Scotty manages the Legal Team that provides timely, effective legal advice while helping to ensure that PayByPhone maintains its reputation with its partners, regulators and the public and complies with applicable laws and regulations. She and the Legal Team are also responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating all commercial agreements. Scotty has a background in business, commercial, consumer, intellectual property, privacy and data protection law and uses her LLL, JD and MBA to bridge the gap between business and the law.

Chris Morrow

Chief Technology Officer

As the Chief Technology Officer, Chris is responsible for platform product development, IT operations, IT infrastructure, IT compliance and security. Chris has been with PayByPhone since 2007 when he joined as employee seven and as the first full time IT employee. Prior to PayByPhone, Chris spent many years working in large-scale SaaS operations. Chris’s role at PayByPhone is to lead the technology teams to build and scale the PayByPhone technology platform securely, reliably and efficiently.
